2001 Martin D-45V Vintage Series Dreadnought Guitar with 'Christian F Martin' inlay.

Arguably the most revered acoustic guitar brand of all time, Martin have been making exceptional quality instruments since 1833 and have some of the most iconic guitars on the market today. The D-45 represents the pinnacle of Martin flat tops. Notable owners include David Crosby, Marty Stuart, Neil Young, Stephen Stills and John Mayer. 

Without a doubt, one of the finest dreadnoughts we've ever had. It guitar comes fitted with a K&K transducer and microphone with a Quantum Blender - their top-of-the-line two-channel preamp/mixer that provides all the control and features you could ever want to combine the pickups.

Condition is very good. There are signs of wear and a small (near invisible) repair on the side of a hairline crack. 

A rare and collectable D45-V with the 'Christian F Martin' signature inlayed on the 19th fret.

 

About the Martin D-45V

The D-45 V is the flagship of Martin's famous vintage series. Only the best woods and hand-insulated abalone inlays are used. It is no coincidence that the Martin D-45 V is one of the 20 best and most sought-after acoustic guitars in the world. The Martin D-45 V basically has all the features of the D-45, but the addition "V" stands for vintage and differs not only from the light "V" neck profile but also from the classic "Snowflake" inlays, instead of the "Hexagon" inlays on the D-45 Standard fingerboard.
The Martin D-45 V is unique in craftsmanship, appearance and sound. Accordingly, this solid dreadnought acoustic guitar comes with an "AAA" Sitka spruce top and an East Indian rosewood body.
