2003 Hofner Jazzica Natural Archtop (Pre-owned)
This is a particularly lovely example of the Hofner Jazzica Custom, made in Germany in 2003. The Jazzica Custom was one of Hofner’s finest archtop models and was produced in relatively small numbers, making these increasingly difficult to find today.
It has a solid carved spruce top, figured maple back and sides and a one-piece maple neck, with ebony used for the fingerboard, bridge, tailpiece and pickguard. The combination of traditional archtop construction and Hofner’s own design touches gives the Jazzica a character that is quite different from the more familiar American archtops.
In excellent condition, with remarkably little evidence of its age. It is also completely original.
Supplied with original Hofner hard case.
