Benedetto Howard Alden 7-String Guitar (Pre-owned)
Here we have an extremely rare Benedetto 7-string archtop guitar made for Howard Alden, built in the Fender Corona Custom Shop under the supervision of Bob Benedetto. From 1999 to 2006, Benedetto had a licensing agreement with Fender to produce his models in their Custom Shop.
Overall condition is very good. There are signs of normal lacquer shrinkage at the neck joint and some checked lacquer around the neck heel. There are also some lacquer cracks on one of the sides which can be seen in one of the photos. Some wear to the binding edges, lots of light scratches/swirl marks, and a small chip at the top of the headstock. It's also missing its ebony fingerrest.
The Fender Custom Shop made a total of three Howard Alden 7-string guitars. This one is Serial Number 210.
