King Snake Rockin' Chair - Tobacco Sunburst
The King Snake Rockin' Chair w/Pickup was developed specifically with acoustic blues in mind, pairing a compact 13.5-inch body with a deep, flat-back construction to create a focused, vocal-friendly tone ideal for solo performance. A solid spruce top combined with King Snake’s original Detroit One Block design adds definition and a stronger tonal core. The result is a lively, expressive instrument that feels equally at home with raw Delta blues, ragtime runs and stripped-back rock ’n’ roll.
About King Snake Guitars:
King Snake guitars embody the golden age of archtop and semi-hollow design. Inspired by the most iconic classics, each instrument captures the spirit of a vintage guitar, with the consistency and craftsmanship that only modern Japanese lutherie can deliver.
King Snake guitars are finished with ultra-thin open-pore nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the wood to breathe and age naturally, just like the timeless instruments that inspired them.
Built in the renowned Terada factory - the same workshop responsible for the early-2000s D’Angelico and D’Aquisto archtops, the Sadowsky line of archtops and most notably, the high-end Gretsch models, these guitars are produced to exacting standards with exceptional attention to detail.
