King Snake Curtis - Amber Natural

Based on the ES-125, the Curtis is a 16" archtop guitar crafted from select laminated maple, featuring dual King Snake TB-1 P90 pickups that deliver a rich, vintage-inspired tone with warmth, clarity and midrange punch. Its mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays provide a comfortable, responsive playing experience, while the rosewood bridge and custom trapeze tailpiece offer the classic archtop feel and resonance.

Perfect for both blues and jazz, the Curtis combines vintage character with modern playability. With its boutique craftsmanship, open-pore nitro finish and meticulous attention to detail, the Curtis is perfect for players seeking an authentic, vintage-inspired instrument that stands out in both tone and presence.

About King Snake Guitars:

King Snake guitars embody the golden age of archtop and semi-hollow design. Inspired by the most iconic classics, each instrument captures the spirit of a vintage guitar, with the consistency and craftsmanship that only modern Japanese lutherie can deliver.

King Snake guitars are finished with ultra-thin open-pore nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the wood to breathe and age naturally, just like the timeless instruments that inspired them.

Built in the renowned Terada factory - the same workshop responsible for the early-2000s D’Angelico and D’Aquisto archtops, the Sadowsky line,of archtops and most notably, the high-end Gretsch models, these guitars are produced to exacting standards with exceptional attention to detail.
