King Snake Muddy Non Cutaway - Vintage Sunburst

The King Snake "Muddy" model guitar is primarily based on the vintage Gibson ES-125-style thinline hollow-body archtop guitars from the 1950s and 1960s. It's a 16" thinline archtop crafted from carefully selected laminated maple and featuring a King Snake TB-1 P90 pickup for classic tonal character. Its one-piece mahogany neck sports a comfortable C-shape profile and a rosewood fingerboard with traditional dot inlays. The thinline body is paired with a rosewood bridge and trapeze tailpiece, producing the warm, midrange-focused tone ideal for bluesy fingerpicking.

About King Snake Guitars:

King Snake guitars embody the golden age of archtop and semi-hollow design. Inspired by the most iconic classics, each instrument captures the spirit of a vintage guitar, with the consistency and craftsmanship that only modern Japanese lutherie can deliver.

King Snake guitars are finished with ultra-thin open-pore nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the wood to breathe and age naturally, just like the timeless instruments that inspired them.

Built in the renowned Terada factory - the same workshop responsible for the early-2000s D’Angelico and D’Aquisto archtops, the Sadowsky line of archtops and most notably, the high-end Gretsch models, these guitars are produced to exacting standards with exceptional attention to detail.
