1976 Gibson L-5C in Sunburst, built in Kalamazoo during the Norlin era. Featuring a carved solid spruce top with carved figured maple back and sides, three-piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard, engraved L-5 tailpiece, gold hardware and original Kluson Sealfast tuners. This example is fitted with a period Gibson BJB floating humbucker with pickguard-mounted volume and tone controls, allowing superb amplified jazz tone while preserving the integrity of the uncut carved soundboard. A beautifully balanced professional archtop, equally impressive acoustically or plugged in, and presented in excellent vintage condition with orginial hardshell case.
