A superb modern concert instrument by Greek luthier Charalampos Koumridis, built in 2019 and exemplifying the contemporary lattice-braced design. This guitar combines traditional tonewoods with advanced construction techniques to deliver exceptional projection, clarity and responsiveness.
Koumridis guitars are highly regarded for their precision of build and their powerful, modern voice. This cedar lattice model offers a warm yet focused tonal character, with excellent separation and sustain. The basses are strong and controlled, while the trebles remain clear and direct, maintaining balance across the full register.
The lattice bracing system, reinforced with carbon fibre, allows for a highly responsive soundboard, producing remarkable volume and immediacy of attack with minimal effort from the player. The result is an instrument ideally suited to both concert performance and recording environments.
