2020 Gretsch G6128T-89VS Vintage Select '89 Duo Jet
Gretsch G6128T-89VS Vintage Select ’89 Duo Jet in Black, gently used and in excellent condition. This Japanese-made Duo Jet is based on the late-’80s specification and features a chambered mahogany body with arched maple top, maple set neck and rosewood fingerboard. It's fitted with a TV Jones TV Classic at the neck and TV Classic Plus at the bridge, giving it plenty of the clarity, punch and character associated with the classic Gretsch sound. Other features include a Bigsby B3C vibrato, pinned Adjusto-Matic bridge, Gotoh tuners and the distinctive silver Plexi pickguard. Supplied with its original Gretsch hardshell case.
Please note, the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity identifies the model simply as G6128T. However, the guitar itself is the G6128T-89VS Vintage Select ’89 Duo Jet, identifiable by its specific ’89-specification features including the TV Jones TV Classic/TV Classic Plus pickups, late-’80s style headstock and hardware configuration.
