The Eastman FV880CE is a hand-carved, all-solid archtop guitar designed by Utah-based luthier Ryan Thorell in collaboration with jazz virtuoso Frank Vignola. Drawing inspiration from traditional gypsy jazz guitars, the FV880CE delivers exceptional acoustic volume and tonal clarity—impressive by any standard for a modern archtop.
Released briefly in 2022, the FV880CE shares much of its design and specifications with the FV680CE, but features flamed maple for the body and maple for the neck in place of mahogany, offering a brighter tonal profile and striking visual appeal.
