1956 Epiphone Zephyr Regent (Pre-owned)
Here we have a beautiful 1956 Epiphone Zephyr Regent that captures the golden age of American archtop design. It features a full-sized 17-inch laminated maple body with a 25½-inch scale, delivering a warm, articulate tone with classic jazz resonance. The single DeArmond Dynasonic pickup in the neck position provides a rounded clarity that’s perfect for vintage blues and swing styles.
In good vintage condition, this example shows plenty of lacquer checking throughout, adding to its authentic aged character. Much of the binding has been carefully re-glued, and the guitar has had a re-fret. It remains largely original, with the only notable modification being the addition of a large metal plate around the jack input for extra reinforcement.
