The Iris OG is the original model that established the reputation of Iris Guitars, offering a refined, vintage-inspired acoustic with exceptional responsiveness and balance. This gently-used model from 2025 with a spruce top and maple back and sides, delivers a slightly brighter, more articulate voice than the standard mahogany configuration, retaining the model’s characteristic dry, woody midrange while adding clarity, note separation and a touch of sparkle in the high end.
Handcrafted in Burlington, Vermont, the OG is known for its lightweight build, satin nitro finish and minimalist aesthetic, allowing the tonewoods to speak freely. Its straightforward, 'no-frills' design philosophy focuses on playability and tone above all else, making it a favourite among players seeking boutique quality without unnecessary ornamentation.
In excellent overall condition with only light signs of use consistent with careful ownership. The sole notable blemish is a very small ding to the soundboard, which can be seen in the photos.
