Here we have a lovely 1980's Weston L-5 Style archtop built at the Matsumoku Company in Matsumoto Japan. You won't find a better copy of an L-5 at this price.
In very good condition with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. The hardware shows noticeable wear to the gold plating, and there are a few small marks and minor scratches. Plays beautifully with a nice low action
These early 80's Japanese archtops are incredibly well built with meticulous attention to detail. With modern L-5s going for upwards of £10k, this represents a serious bargain!
