1987 Ibanez AM205 'Super Edition' Artist Series
Very rare Artist Series semi-hollow guitar made in the Terada factory in Japan. The guitar is in very good condition for its age and plays great!
There are a few dings and scratches here and there but free of any cracks or repairs. Some binding discolouration but still in good shape. Missing the original pickguard.
Tailpiece has been replaced with a TonePros Metric Locking one but the original Ibanez Quik Change II is fully functional and included.
About the AM205 Super Edition:
The AM205 features a compact, semi-hollow, double cutaway body design with an arched, burl mahogany top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on burl mahogany back and sides with a maple centre block. mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers with "SUPER EDITION" inlay at 21 fret.
Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 hum bucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, ivory plastic pickup rings, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar II bridge, a Quik Change II tailpiece, a graphite nut, a black pickguard, Sure Grip II knobs, and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines.
