1996 Guild X-170 Manhattan (Pre-owned)
Built in Guild's Westerly, Rhode Island factory in 1996, this X-170 Manhattan is a fully hollow 16 5/8" archtop finished in Blonde. Construction features a laminated maple body with a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, Guild harp tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic tuners. Electronics comprise a pair of Seymour Duncan-built Guild HB-1 humbuckers with individual volume controls, master tone, and a three-way selector switch. The guitar remains in excellent overall condition, showing only light signs of use consistent with careful ownership, and is a fine example of a late Westerly-era X-170.
