2000 Gibson Super 400 CES (Pre-owned)
The legendary Super 400 was first introduced in 1934 and was Gibson's top-of-the-line archtop guitar. At the time, Gibson was already well known for making high-quality acoustic and electric guitars, but the Super 400 took things to a whole new level in terms of craftsmanship, design, and price - the Super 400 was the most expensive guitar in Gibson's catalog when it was first released.
Featuring a solid carved spruce top and solid carved figured maple body this gorgeous archtop has warm, full-bodied tone with a rich, resonant low end and a smooth treble response.
In excellent super clean condition with the odd swirl marks and very slight lacquer sinkage/checking around the neck joint, common with many Gibsons.
