2005 Eastman AR880CE John Pisano – Blonde Finish (Pre-owned)
Here's a wonderful example of an early Eastman archtop: a 2005 Eastman AR880CE John Pisano model in a beautifully aged Blonde finish. Twenty years on, this guitar remains remarkably clean and is a fantastic reminder of just how well these instruments were built from the very beginning.
The solid carved spruce top and flamed maple body have developed a rich, warm golden hue over the years, giving the guitar the kind of natural vintage character that simply can't be replicated
This guitars sounds every bit as good as it looks. The acoustic voice is lively, resonant, and balanced, while the floating pickup delivers the warm and articulate jazz tones.
Many of our customers still think of Eastman as a relatively new company, but I've been selling their guitars since the early 2000s and it's great to see one of these early instruments looking and sounding this spectacular two decades later. This AR880CE is a real testament to the quality, craftsmanship, and long-term reliability that helped establish Eastman's reputation among discerning jazz guitarists.
