Atkin Essential OOOs - Aged Finish #3572 (Pre-owned)
Hand-crafted in Canterbury, Kent by Alister Atkin and his small team of talented luthiers, the Essential OOOs offers 100% Atkin tone – stripped down to the bare essentials! Each Essential OOOs sports a North American Sitka spruce top and braced with pre-war scalloped bracing, all of which is baked in house at Atkin. Mahogany back and sides are complimented by a lightweight mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard – just like some of the finest Pre-War guitars.
The Essential OOOs has a 12 frets to the body neck joint and a slotted headstock designed for finger pickers. The body is the largest of all the ‘O’ models and really throws some sound out of the box.
Condition is as new. We’re selling this on behalf of a customer who purchased it only a few months ago and has used it very lightly—just a few hours of playtime. This is a reluctant sale due to personal circumstances.
