Bourgeois Down East Series 00-14 Hog Top
This pre-owned Bourgeois Down East Series 00-14 Hog Top was purchased new by its previous owner, who owned it for only a couple of weeks before deciding that they already had enough acoustic guitars and trading it towards an electric.
Despite the relatively short period of ownership, it has clearly been played during that time and shows some noticeable playing marks, particularly to the pickguard area. These are cosmetic only.
The Down East Series 00-14 Hog Top is a small-bodied acoustic featuring all-mahogany construction, giving it a warm, woody voice with plenty of character. The comfortable 00 body is particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, while the 25" scale length and 1¾" nut width provide a relaxed and comfortable playing experience.
Built by Eastman in collaboration with Bourgeois Guitars, the Down East Series instruments are made to Bourgeois' specifications and quality standards, combining the design and attention to detail associated with the Bourgeois name with a more accessible price point. A responsive and versatile small-bodied guitar, equally at home with fingerstyle, blues, folk and light flatpicking.
