The Bourgeois Down East Series Soloist OMCE brings one of Dana Bourgeois' most influential designs to a more accessible price point without compromising the craftsmanship or tonal character that has made the Soloist so highly regarded. Featuring an Aged Tone torrefied Sitka spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, it delivers a wonderfully balanced voice with impressive clarity, warmth and dynamic response. With a 1 3/4" nut width and wider bridge spacing, the Soloist OMCE is particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, offering excellent string separation and articulation. At the same time, its long-scale design provides enough headroom and projection to make it an equally capable for strumming.
