Collings OM2H 1 3/4" Nut Sitka/Rosewood #36966
The Collings OM2H is one of those guitars where the specification looks fairly conventional on paper but the execution is exceptional. Built with a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides and a mahogany neck, it offers an impressive combination of clarity, warmth, projection and dynamic range.
The things that really stand out are the meticulous build quality, superb fretwork, extremely clean voicing and consistency. They're also remarkably responsive without feeling delicate; you can fingerpick one beautifully but still dig in with a flatpick and get plenty of headroom. This particular one has a wider nut 1 3/4" for those who prefer a slightly wider spacing.
