DJ Hodson 503 SR Gypsy Jazz Guitar - Left-handed (Pre-owned)
Here we have a rare lefty gypsy jazz guitar by British luthier DJ Hodson.
The D.J. Hodson 503 SR oval hole is a handcrafted gypsy-jazz guitar inspired by the legendary Selmer–Maccaferri design made famous by Django Reinhardt. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, laminated Bubinga back and sides and a walnut neck with ebony fingerboard, it delivers the bright, clear, and resonant tone that defines the Manouche style.
A traditional Selmer-style bridge, engraved tailpiece, and golden Schaller tuners complete its classic look. Comes fitted with a Bigtone pickup.
The guitar is in very good condition overall with a some pick wear and other signs of regular use - some small dings/marks around the headstock and body.
