A stunning bird's eye maple tricone resonator by renowned luthier Mike Lewis of Fine Resophonic. Handbuilt in his workshop just outside Paris, Mike's resonators are considered to be amongst the best in the world. Looking at this example it's easy to see why the likes Eric Clapton, Michael Messer, Bill Wharton and Louisiana Red to name a few have all played his instruments.
This one is in excellent condition with a little tarnishing on the metalwork and features an exquisite bird's eye maple top with equally mouth-watering figuring to the back and sides. The one-piece neck is flamed maple with a slotted headstock. Ebony fingerboard, 12-frets to the body, Ivoroid binding and 1 3/4" bone nut.
