Maybach Lester '59 Midnight Sunset Aged
Built in the Czech Republic by a small team of experienced guitar makers, Maybach guitars are known for their excellent build quality, authentic ageing and attention to detail. The Lester ’59 takes its inspiration from the classic late-’50s single-cut design, with carefully shaped contours, a comfortable ’59-style neck profile and a beautifully aged finish.
Fitted with a pair of hand-wound Cream T 'Bernie Bucker' humbuckers, the Lester delivers the warm, open and dynamic character associated with the best vintage PAF-style pickups, with plenty of clarity and bite when pushed. Finished in Maybach’s striking Midnight Sunset, this is a superbly made, great-playing take on a classic design, offering much of the feel and character of a high-end Custom Shop instrument.
