Sonntag Allegria Archtop Guitar (Pre-owned)
The Sonntag Allegria is a beautifully crafted German-made archtop from luthier Stefan Sonntag, designed with the jazz guitarist in mind. Measuring approximately 16¾" across the lower bout, it features a hand-carved solid spruce top, with laminated maple back and sides. The laminated body construction gives the Allegria excellent resistance to feedback when amplified, while the carved spruce top retains the responsiveness, dynamics and acoustic character expected from a high-quality archtop.
This guitar has a 23" scale, making it particularly comfortable for those who prefer shorter scale length.
Condition is very good overall, with just a few minor marks. There are some light surface scratches/marks, together with a small area of damage to the binding at the edge of the top, as shown in the photographs. These are relatively minor and do little to detract from the overall appearance of what is otherwise a very well-preserved instrument.
